Yesterday was... interesting.... I think?
The interestingness started off early in the day as I drove through a north side neighborhood intent on delivering a friends lawnmower, I heard the auditory battle of emergency sirens as police, fire rescue and ambulances rushed to a 911 call at a local motel on Cache road. Luckily for most of the patrons of the motel it was not a call that was predicated by violence. Unluckily for one lodger that had been staying in the Motel it was determined that the commotion surrounded the discovery of a body in one of the rooms. Preliminary reports were pointing to a natural death.
Then at around 4:00pm the sirens cut through the hot August day as Fire, police, rescue and other first responders arrived two blocks east of our shop. The newspaper reported this morning that although the building was a total loss there was no loss of life. I guess there is always a bright side.
Then on my way home after taking these I met a Fire Truck in the north part of town and a few streets away stumbled upon a couple Police Officers and what appeared to be a group or unruly youths in the middle of the street.
Evidently 103° is a busy temperature for emergency services. I hope today is a little milder.

Thanks for the great pics, was not sure of the building by the morning papers one pic. Is your shop still open as I have tried phoning you there and it says number has been disconnected? Debbie will be back next week, I was hoping to get in touch with you but you are awol it seems. bev

DAMN! That third picture is crazy!
Your goal this Saturday, should you choose to accept it: Take a B&W pic of Baxter on the wood floors w/ the light shining though the window. He's so cute, crazy but cute.
