I don’t know about the rest of you but I hated the green that has been hanging around this place of late. I don’t know what came over me.

I have been working on this new “look” for a couple days and I think I may actually like it and keep it around for a while. I took the header photo at sunset from on top of Mount Scott in the Wichita Mountains. You have not known relaxation until you have stood atop a mountain, 1355 feet above the plains below, totally alone at sunset.

Gone is a bunch of the junk on the sidebar…. You might also have noticed that the sidebar changed sides. No, it was not moved to signify the change in political leaning in the Whitehouse or in the Oklahoma Senate. It moved because in this template they won’t let me leave it on the right side. Politics aside… it feels wrong over on the left. My right hand and brain hate crossing over the page to make choices and we don’t trust my left hand to do ANYTHING after it stabbed me in the calf. Hey I’ll get over it. Hopefully you will also, after all, stupid hand didn’t stab you.

My tenure on the city council will be ending early next year and my intension is to use that extra time to concentrate on photography. And nursing (the helping kind not the nipple kind) Dream Girl back to health after her hip surgery. All the elections are over so I now have time to write. Getting back into the habit is the trick. I won’t be writing about politics except in passing now and again. As much as I would have loved to serve in the Oklahoma House or continued to serve on the Council I welcome the break.

So sit back and hang on because with no elections or politics to worry about we can talk about anything… even nipples.

I really like that word. It has two kinda boob looking letters right there in the middle as it should be…
