I Think I Am Getting Better - If By Better We Mean Dehydrating Instead Of Dying
It appears that I may be in the waning days of this Ebola Virus. While the Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Formula helped I did finally call DR.C's office on Friday and asked for an appointment and they offered to call me something in at the pharmacy. I asked for Demerol they countered with Clarithromycin. I settled for that because they didn't sound in the mood to negotiate.
I should have held out for the the Demerol. At least while I waited for my sinus infection/cold/flu Ebola to run its course I would have been relatively happy and without much concern for what was going on around me.
Lola was building up for seizures and she did have them all day and night for I can't remember how many days straight. It culminated with her being attacked by Cricket in mid seizure and getting two puncture wounds in her rear inner thigh area. She seems to be doing better now but we are still holding our breath.
Oh and the other reason I should have gone with the Demerol was that the only really bad side effects are lifelong addiction and seizure. Now the addiction part would suck but the seizure part would have been interesting. It would have freaked DG out if Lola and I could have timed the seizures and both been flopping around in the hall floor. Oh to have been a fly on the wall if that were to have happened. Maybe not, she knows where the guns are.
Sadly the punishment for settling for Clarithromycin is your choice of Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, changes in taste, and headache. Being the indecisive person that I am I just went for all six.
I want my Ebola back.
Oh and now DG says that I infected her with the Ebola. I said no way. I didn't kiss her or touch her. Nothing.... not a thing....
But she says I touched stuff in the house... Duuuuuhhhhhh... and why not??? It's not like she doesn't walk around with a can of Lysol and alcohol wipes while wearing a Hazmat Suit even when I'm not sick.....
So see... it's not really my fault... if I had been on Demerol I would have spent the last two or three days and nights in bed talking to the blue goat that lives in the closet.
So blame it on Dr. C's office.
She's going to call them on Monday... they'll probably give her Demerol.
