I Wish I Could Speak Spanish

We have a new Mexican Restaurant in town. We haven't eaten there yet so no review other than to say Brother Phil liked the tacos. And Brother Phil doesn't like just anything..... If you look up picky eater there's Brother Phil's picture. I think he is a little more easy going now but back in the day he would only eat his burgers with pickle, meat, cheese and bread ... NO CONDIMENTS, he would not eat a hamburger that was made by someone that knew someone that had handled mustard within the last week.

You should have been there when Dad and I snuck him some Der Wienerschnitzel (that's what it was called way back then...) hotdogs that had mustard on them. It was night time so we figured what the hey.... maybe we can get away with it. Lord help us his mustard senses kicked in and he threw what grandma always called a Walleyed fit. He went on and on and spittered and sputtered. He was pissed off for about twenty years and may still be. So if Brother Phil likes something you can bet it is nothing weird or out of the ordinary.

But...

He faxed me a menu....

First off the name of the place is Ay Mamacita! and I have had no "Spanish as a second language" classes. I searched the web and found that if you're from Brazil or most anywhere in South America it would mean little mama and would be considered an affectionate reference. But in most of Mexico and the US it can be defined as Hot Mama or Sexy Mama and is used many times on the street as an offensive way to address a woman. It appears that using Ay is like using "Hey" in English. So it would not make much sense to translate it as "Hey Little Mama!". It seems that a better translation is "Hey Sexy Mama". I am so confused and I haven't even eaten there yet.

Again let me say that the only Spanish phrases I have ever needed were, dos cervezas frías, for my monolingual bothers and sisters that would be "two cold beers" and donde está el tocador which translates to "Where is the toilet?". I thought that would cover it. I guess I was wrong.

I tried to do a search on Google.com for Ay Mamacita! and the first to links were two movies. The second was of a young man screaming "Ay Mamacita!" as he and a friend ran by a young lady as they waived their Guy Junk in her general direction..... At least that is what I think they were doing...

The first was the video below. I didn't click on any others.

Someone tell me what the heck Ay Mamacita! means.... PLEASE.

Secondly, I should note that the tag line on their menu is, "Come in and leave with a little Mexican inside you." What the.... (I won't be sending DG for take out....)
