I am trying out Windows Live Writer. I think I may actually like this Microsoft product. So just sit back and lets play with this thing a little. It appears that you can type your post into the word processor or "normal" window. Or you can type directly into a template that was copied from your blog when you installed writer.

I can tell you about the meteorite that I saw last night on the way home about 10pm. It lit up the inside of my truck. Not like in Close Encounters but it was a really bright blue/green color. It appeared to have smoke and or sparks trailing behind it as it streaked from high in the east to low in the west. It's tail was long enough that I had to look out the side window and toward the rear to see the end of it. And as fast as it appeared it was gone.

See I can insert a map to show you where it all happened.

Or I can add a picture. I wonder if I can format the placement of the picture better than in blogger... lets see:
