Multitasking
Do you have any idea how hard it is to:
I took the photo below this afternoon as I passed the accident on a rain sick highway not far from downtown Lawton. Police report that the driver of the semi was driving faster than road conditions would allow and lost control causing the truck to jackknife. The cab overturned but the driver walked away unharmed. A environmental crew from the Oklahoma City area were called in to clean up the oil and diesel fuel spill caused by the accident. City Of Lawton Police and Fire crews worked throughout the afternoon controlling traffic and aiding in the cleanup.

This just in..... Atwood's will be offering Hotdogs for 10¢ each on Saturday. There is a limit of 6 Hotdogs per person. Lunch for 60¢.... you can't beat that with a stick. Well, I guess you could, but it would squish them all up and that would be a sin.
This also just in..... The question has been raised, "What the heck, though, is an "Indian taco"? You heard I was on a diet and just had to ask.... Dream Girl and I will be bringing that story after our lunch date at Big Chef on Friday.... complete with pictures....
Yes, I am back to 295lbs.... join me for the trip back to 220....
Tomorrow we are having lunch at a secret Korean place. They will be serving homemade (while we watch) Chicken Bulgogi. I hope they don't kill the chicken in front of us. I'm almost positive that DG would freak out. Plus I don't think they have a health certificate but don't tell DG.
I'm pretty sure it is run by the Korean Coffee Mafia. I stopped by today and the proprietor set me up with some coffee that I just can't stop drinking.... is twenty cups of coffee too much for one day? I need to buy some more tomorrow.... I'm thinking that this coffee is going to help with the trip back to 220...
DG took Cricket to the Vet today to have the tumor removed from her lip. We will pick her up on Friday. She was very apprehensive and scared. She even whimpered a little when the vet separated them. Cricket was a little upset also.... Send good thoughts.
- Keep up with traffic at 75mph in the rain,
- Support your camera lens with your left arm that is hanging out your window holding onto the outside mirror,
- Hold the camera in your right hand,
- Drive with your knee,
- Look through the viewfinder with one eye while you watch the road with the other eye when you only have one eye?

I absolutely LOVE Indian Tacos. It's my favorite part of going to fairs.

Your driving while taking pix reminded me of my newspaper days. I tend to wax nostalgic about everything I did when I was young. But I can't romanticize my reporter days: most of them were hell.
What I remember no longer exists: room thick with cigarette smoke and the smell of burnt coffee, clacking typewriters, incessant ringing of the phone. A ringing phone filled me with anxiety for years to follow. What a relief now that ring tones play one's favorite anthem. You've express how a deadline can create in you amazing stuff you might not have produced otherwise:I think I was extremely lucky in that regard. But I just never handled deadlines well. Glad my only deadline is one I have no idea will occur. Wouldn't it be funny when it does to meet God sitting at an editor's desk, in a smoke-filled room amid the sounds of typewriters and telephones? Guess it won't God at all.
