Ok...

Now we know for sure that the world will not end if I don't post every single day.

Although the Monte Carlo in Vegas did catch fire, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, I am optimistic that investigators will not find my lack of blogging at fault....

It was reported that many of the 3,000 guest were seen peering out windows and gambling in the casino as fire crews trudged through the building and fought the fire... what's wrong with people..... it is very evident that those individuals have never been on fire.....

Also yesterday a helicopter crashed on the 101 freeway in south LA killing the only occupant

Again I feel confident that I will be exonerated of any fault in this mishap. While there is an outside chance that the lone occupant was a passenger and the crash was caused by the absence of the pilot, I'm betting that the cause of the crash will be attributed to gravity.

There is just not much going on to post about... it is just too dang cold.

In our local paper today there were only three headlines.

The lead story concerned our State Auditor Jeff McMahan and His wife Lori that pleaded not guilty to federal charges of bribery, mail fraud and conspiracy. If I were him I would plead not guilty by reason of Alzheimer's as it appears he was unclear about his position in the Oklahoma government and the currant year. He thought he was a county commissioner and it was the 1980's.

Let me draw your attention to the AP image at the right that was taken as they departed the Federal Court House in Muskogee. (Yes, that is the same Muskogee where they don't smoke marijuana.) If that's not a picture of a couple of guilty people I don't know what is.... my prediction is that it won't be long and those wool jackets will be draped over shackled wrists. And there may be some Oklahoma Senators and State Representatives following suit.

Then there was the story about a WWII paratroopers jump school being held in Frederick, Oklahoma. Talk about difficult job placement after graduation. First you have to find another war named World War II then you have to find someone willing to pay you to jump out of a plane into said war.... Talk about a specialized education......

And then the final story was about an illegal immigrant and his illegal immigrant wife that let their illegal immigrant child die because they were afraid to take it to the hospital because of the new laws in Oklahoma concerning illegals..... they were afraid that they might go to jail.

These two I think we should let stay. We should charge and convict them of murder and let them hold hands while they share a lethal injection. I don't appreciate that they or their lawyer will try to blame this on them being illegals.... it is about being crappy parents and marginal humans. They killed another human, their child, as surely as if they had put a gun against its head and pulled the trigger... no they are actually worse than that, a quick bullet to the brain would have been better than the slow painful death they perpetrated on their own flesh and blood.

I guess I'm in a mood today.....................
